With its tall ribbed back and soft-touch taupe fabric, the Rothbury occasional chair takes a classic shape and keeps it calm and neutral. Foam and fibre padding gives a comfortable sit, and the seat is 47cm from the floor. It stands on solid light brown wooden legs that warm up the pale upholstery.

At 112cm high, 85cm wide and 91cm deep, it has enough presence to hold its own beside a fireplace, in a bedroom corner or at the end of a living room. Taupe works easily with creams, greys and natural wood.
