Set on a stepped plinth, the large Latham mantel clock has a classic rectangular outline, traditional Roman numerals and a warm brushed brass finish. It is made from aluminium, stainless steel and glass and stands 54cm high and 56cm wide, so it has the scale to anchor a mantelpiece, sideboard or console table.

The brass tone softens the architectural shape and sits comfortably in both modern and traditional rooms. It needs one AA battery, not included. At 5.9kg it feels solid, so give it a sturdy surface with a little room either side.
