Vertical ridges run up the Elk vase under a deep terracotta glaze full of warm, earthy colour. Straight sides and a squared-off shape keep it crisp, and at 35cm tall it has enough height for a console table, sideboard or deep shelf.

To protect the glaze, fill it with dried or faux stems rather than water. Pampas, dried grasses or seed heads work well against the terracotta, especially in rooms with natural wood and linen.
